Don't think I'm going to go much further with this. I just cannot get Samus to look right here. Her body's way too thick (I don't want her to look anorexic like she did in Other M, but I don't want her to look so...heavy? I guess? either...) and I can't get her goddamn face right. Also her head is too big for her body.
That's one of the problems I am having with this new "semi-realistic"/whatever art style. Getting the proportions of everything right is killing me. From the head down it always just turns into a nightmare. I need a figure drawing class...
Anyway, this probably will be my last Other M piece of art. Thanks LP, for the muse! Don't know what I will draw next. I got a few ideas lined up, so we'll see.
Also ARRRRGH i forgot to turn off the timestamp! And don't ask why my camera is being so damn blurry.
Oh yeah, and this is what MB looked like before I started fucking around with stuff (and after I fixed shit with the good ol' lasso tool). She's graphite on paper with coloured pencil for the eyes and barrette. Also, the shinies in the eyes are white-out. O_O Never using that again...
